Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing induced pluripotent stem cells that have a low potential for tumor formation and ensure a high induction efficiency. The method for producing induced pluripotent stem cells includes a step for introducing nucleic acid which accelerates expression of at least one gene selected from the group consisting of NANOG gene, SOX2 gene, OCT3/4 gene, KLF4 gene, LIN28 gene and c-MYC gene in somatic cells.
