Abstract:

A method of producing lightweight metal structures provides for feeding a strip material from a coil (2) and straightening it. Then, before bending, the strip material is cut along a zigzag line into at least two elements (5, 6, 7), the transport trajectory of at least one of them is changed and then the elements are joined together in one plane along their edges so as to reconstitute a combined enlarged strip and are welded together.
