Abstract:

A method of producing lightweight metal structures provides for feeding a strip material from a coil (2) and straightening it. Then, before bending, the strip material is cut along a zigzag line into at least two elements (5, 6, 7), each element (5, 6, 7) is cut into pieces of a certain length and then the elements are joined together in one plane along their edges so as to form an enlarged strip and are welded together.
