Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a polyester resin composition, whereby it becomes possible to reduce catalyst cost when a polymerization catalyst comprising an aluminum compound and a phosphorus compound is used and to reduce foreign matters in the polyester resin composition. The method for producing a polyester resin composition is characterized by comprising a step for mixing a base polyester resin (A) comprising an aluminum compound and a phosphorus compound and satisfying items (1) to (3) with a master batch (B) comprising an anti-blocking agent. (1) The content of element aluminum in the base polyester resin (A) is 9 to 19 ppm by mass; (2) the content of element phosphorus in the base polyester resin (A) is 13 to 31 ppm by mass; and (3) the molar ratio of element phosphorus to element aluminum in the base polyester resin (A) is 1.32 to 1.80, inclusive.
