Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for producing a ring member and a method for producing a belt using a ring member wherein production efficiency is enhanced. In a method for producing a ring member (1) formed of a strip material in a ring-shape and having at least any one of the inner circumferential surface or the outer circumferential surface subjected to surface treatment under a state of being mounted on an installation base (10), at least three ring-shaped portions sectioned by intersections at at least two positions are formed by twisting a part of the ring member (1) by at least one turn with respect to the other part, the ring member (1) is wound spirally by superimposing the three ring-shaped portions such that the center lines approach each other, and then surface treatment is performed by mounting the ring member (1) wound spirally on the installation base.
