Abstract:
A method of producing a sheet by extrusion molding which determines a sheet-width-direction
corresponding position after completion of working on a thickness regulating
means by the methods in the following steps A and B when the controlled variables
of a plurality of thickness regulating means provided to a die are calculated,
and a thickness is controlled based on the determined sheet-width-direction
corresponding position. A. An unknown parameter is determined so that an evaluation
function, that includes a mapping function representing the corresponding
relation between a sheet-width-direction position before work completion
and a width-direction position after work completion and including at least
one unknown parameter, a sheet-width-direction thickness distribution measurement
before the work completion, and a sheet-width-direction thickness distribution
measurement after the work completion, equals an extremum. B. The above mapping
function is determined based on the unknown parameter thus determined, and a
sheet-width-direction corresponding position after completion of working
on a thickness regulating means is determined based on the determined mapping
function.
