Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for producing a thermosetting resin molded article, wherein embossing or pattern decoration can be performed at the same time as molding of a thermosetting resin composition. According to the present invention, a decorative film that has a base film and a decorative layer is arranged on at least a region of a mold surface, said region forming a design surface, in such a manner that the decorative layer faces inside, and a thermosetting resin composition is injected into the cavity of the mold and the thermosetting resin composition is cured by heating. The base film is (1) a film that has a tensile elongation at break of more than 500% at the thermosetting temperature of the thermosetting resin composition and a tensile stress at 100% elongation of from 0.1 MPa to 2.5 MPa (inclusive), or (2) a film that is formed from a non-crosslinked olefin thermoplastic resin, and has a tensile elongation at break of 500% or more at the thermosetting temperature of the thermosetting resin composition and a tensile stress at 100% elongation of 0.1 MPa or more.
