Abstract:

An examination item management unit 14 manages examination items in association with the maximum number of modalities that are allowed to acquire examination orders containing the examination items. A reception unit 12 receives examination orders transmission requests from the modalities. An order retrieval unit 18 extracts, from among multiple examination orders recorded in an order recording unit 30, examination orders to be transmitted. At this time, if the number of modalities that acquired an examination order has already reached the maximum number of modalities that are allowed to acquire the examination order, the order retrieval unit 18 does not extract the examination order as an examination order to be transmitted to the modalities, whereas if the number of modalities that acquired the examination order is smaller than the maximum number of modalities that are allowed to acquire the examination order, the order retrieval unit extracts the examination order as an examination order to be transmitted to the modalities.
