Title:
METHOD FOR PRODUCING TITANIUM-CONTAINING OXIDE ULTRAFINE PARTICLE AND TITANIUM-CONTAINING OXIDE ULTRAFINE PARTICLE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2004/065304
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A method for easily producing titanium-containing oxide ultrafine particles which has an average particle diameter (D50) of 20 nm or less and are excellent in crystallinity and widely used in ceramic electronic components, and the thus-produced titanium-containing oxide ultrafine particles are disclosed. The method for producing titanium-containing oxide ultrafine particles is characterized in that at least a titanium material is supplied into an oxygen-containing plasma as a starting material and that the starting material is decomposed in the plasma flame and then reacted with oxygen present in the plasma.
