Abstract:
Provided is a method which is capable of simply and efficiently producing a transition metal-containing silicoaluminophosphate that has excellent catalytic performance and excellent adsorbent performance, while exhibiting not only excellent hydrothermal durability at high temperatures but also excellent water resistance, namely excellent durability when being submerged (resistance to submerging). A method for producing a transition metal-containing zeolite, which is characterized in that a transition metal-containing zeolite that is obtained by having a zeolite, which contains a silicon atom, a phosphorus atom and an aluminum atom at least in the skeletal structure, contain a transition metal is subjected to a steam treatment, while being stirred within a temperature range from 710°C to 890°C (inclusive).
