Abstract:
A method for producing a water-soluble azo dye in a pipeline reactor by continuous diazotization and continuous coupling. A diazonium component, hydrochloric acid, and sodium nitrite are fed simultaneously at the bottom of the pipeline reactor at room temperature, generate a diazotization reaction in a pipeline, leave a diazotization reaction site in time, and then meet an introduced coupling component to generate a coupling reaction; and under stirring by micro stirring blades, the materials on each flow layer are approximately uniformly mixed and reacted, and the reaction materials flow upwards under the action of a feed driving force and are discharged from the top of a flow reactor to produce the water-soluble azo dye. The water-soluble azo dye is produced by the continuous diazotization and continuous coupling reaction at room temperature, which solves the problems that it is necessary to add a large amount of ice to maintain the reaction temperature of about 0°C during the production of the azo dye in a batch reactor, it is limited by mass and heat transfer, the yield of dye products is unstable, and the content of impurities is high, and also solves the problem that a high-concentration turbid diazonium salt solution in a microchannel reactor is not easy to flow.
