Title:
METHOD FOR PRODUCING WELDED BODY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/051494
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a welding technique capable of increasing bonding strength between resin molded bodies without using a specific material, the technique being favorably adoptable in a variety of welding methods. When performing welding by generating heat in a section where a first resin molded body and a second resin molded body overlap, the first resin molded body and/or the second molded body is produced by using a mold with a heat insulating layer formed on part of the cavity surface, and keeping the mold temperature at least 10°C below the cold crystallizing temperature (Tc1) of the thermoplastic resin constituting the resin molded body to be formed. The heat insulating layer is formed on essentially the entire surface of the cavity, excluding a part on the cavity surface in contact with a first planned welding face and/or a second planned welding face. Additionally, it is preferable that the first resin molded body and the second resin molded body be made from a polyarylene-sulfide-based resin composition.
