Abstract:
The method for measuring body deformation in a collision analysis for an automotive vehicle according to the present invention comprises the steps of acquiring a collision analysis model 1 for an automotive vehicle (S1), performing a collision analysis on the collision analysis model 1 (S3), setting a body deformation measurement point and three reference points for measuring body deformation where there is no or only slight deformation of the body (S5), acquiring coordinates of the measurement point and the three reference points at the start of a collision (S7), acquiring coordinates of the measurement point and the three reference points after the collision (S9), calculating at-collision-start distances between the three reference points and the measurement point at the start of the collision (S11), acquiring coordinates of the measurement points before body deformation in the collision analysis model 1 after the collision using the at-collision-start distances (S13), and measuring body deformation using the measurement point coordinates before the body deformation and after the collision (S15).
