Abstract:
The method for providing assistance information according to the present disclosure involves providing assistance information in an information processing device that communicates with a display terminal for displaying a video in a user's visual field and provides assistance information to be displayed on the display terminal. This method for providing assistance information includes acquiring an image in which the movement direction of a user is captured and detecting objects included in the image to determine the position of an object in the user's visual field as a superimposition position for assistance information relating to the object and transmit the superimposition position to the display terminal, thereby causing the assistance information to be displayed so as to be superimposed on the user's visual field at a timing that corresponds to the superimposition position.
