Abstract:
Provided is an electronic device. The electronic device comprises a memory and at least one processor. The at least one processor may be configured to: determine at least one image including a first face corresponding to a designated face, from among one or more images stored in the memory; obtain first values of a plurality of attributes related to the first face; compare each of the first values of the plurality of attributes related to the first face with each of second values of a plurality of attributes corresponding to graphic objects configuring an avatar stored in the memory; identify whether at least one first attribute exists from among the plurality of attributes related to the first face, wherein the at least one first attribute includes, from among the first values, a first value of which a difference with a second value of the at least one first attribute included in the second values is equal to or greater than a threshold value; and on the basis of identifying that the at least one first attribute exists from among the plurality of attributes related to the first face, update the avatar on the basis of the first value of the at least one first attribute.
