Abstract:
In the present invention, a cylinder (14) is caused to move reciprocally at a predetermined amplitude (R1) a plurality of times along an X-axis direction with an approximately intermediate position (T) as the starting point, and a thread-pulling section (Pa) that hangs down from a paste discharge opening (15a) to a mask plate (13) is severed at the vicinity of the intermediate section thereof. The cylinder (14) is moved to the approximately intermediate position (T), and with said position as the starting point, the cylinder (14) is again caused to move (arrow i2) reciprocally a plurality of times at an amplitude (R2) that is smaller than the amplitude (R1) during the paste severing operation, causing a portion of the paste (Pb) remaining hanging from the paste discharge opening (15a) to be dropped downwards. The cylinder (14) is moved (arrow j) in the direction of the end at a guide member (44) side, and the cylinder (14) is rotated (arrow h2) around an axial line (41), changing to a horizontal stored position.
