Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for recovering aluminum from packing materials by plasma pyrolysis/gasification. The method comprises a step of providing a plasma pyrolysis/gasification apparatus including a plasma pyrolysis/gasification furnace having an interior with a plasma torch and an outlet portion for discharging molten aluminum of packing materials containing alumina to the exterior, and including an inlet portion for delivering the packing materials to the plasma furnace, a step of enabling the inlet portion to introduce the packing materials into the plasma furnace, a plasma pyrolysis step of operating the plasma torch in the plasma furnace in accordance with the control signal output from a control unit to thermally decompose the packing materials, and a step of extracting the molten aluminum in the plasma pyrolysis step.
