Abstract:
A method of the present invention involves using an aluminum oxide carrier in which a water-soluble neutral polymer is adsorped on the surface to recover nucleic acid from a body fluid sample, said method including a step in which nucleic acid is adsorped on the carrier in the presence of a chaotropic reagent, and a solution including an anionic surfactant is added to the carrier on which the nucleic acid has been adsorped.
