Abstract:
Disclosed is a means for reducing the side effects of an immune checkpoint control agent which is used as an anticancer drug, etc. An agent according to the present invention for reducing the side effects of an immune checkpoint control agent comprises, as an active ingredient, an anti-CD4 antibody having a high cytotoxic activity, an anti-CD4 antibody to which a cytotoxic component is bound, or an antigen-binding fragment thereof. The anti-CD4 antibody may be a human type chimeric antibody, a humanized antibody or a human antibody against human CD4. The immune checkpoint control agent may be, for example, an anti-PD-L1 antibody, an antagonistic anti-CTLA-4 antibody, an agonistic anti-OX40 antibody, etc.
