Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for reducing waste water generated from a biodiesel purification process and recovering glycerin using a filtration process combining a polymer filtration membrane, ultra-filtration membrane and reverse osmotic membrane. The present invention provides a separation method characterized by separating oil and glycerin from waste water, containing oil emulsion and glycerin produced during a biodiesel washing process, by means of a filtration process combining a polymer filtration membrane, ultra-filtration membrane and reverse osmotic membrane.
