Abstract:

The present invention relates to a method for removing a metallic material in a petrochemical product, the method comprising the steps of: feeding a petrochemical product stream into a storage tank through a feed pipe, circulating the petrochemical product stream through a storage tank circulation pipe, and removing a metal material contained in the petrochemical product stream by using a magnetic filter; conveying the petrochemical product stream to a retrieval tank through a storage tank discharge pipe diverged from the storage tank circulation pipe and connected to the retrieval tank; circulating the petrochemical product stream through a retrieval tank circulation pipe provided at the retrieval tank and removing a metallic material contained in the petrochemical product stream by using a magnetic filter; and conveying the petrochemical product stream by a diversion pipe diverged from the retrieval tank circulation pipe to remove a metallic material by using an ion exchange resin filter.
