Abstract:
The present invention is able to conveniently reproduce on site the surface (1a) of a roll of which the surface has transformed, deteriorated or become dirty and which is used in a polarization film production device without removing the roll from the polarization film production device by spraying granular dry ice (3) to the surface of the roll. In this method for reproducing the roll surface (1a), it is preferred that the granular dry ice (3) be sprayed while sucking in the air in the periphery of the roll surface (1a) to which the granular dry ice (3) is sprayed.
