Abstract:

In order to provide a pre-filled syringe whereby the time needed for injection is reduced while superior safety is achieved, a needle unit (1) of a pre-filled syringe mounted onto a vial comprises: a substantially cylindrical holding member (10) for a double-ended needle; a holder member (11) for grasping the holding member (10) by three columnar sections (111); and a holder member (12) for grasping the holding member (10) by three columnar sections (121), the holder member having a mounting section (125) for the vial; shortening in the axial direction is possible in a state where the columnar sections (111, 121) are arranged far from each other in the peripheral direction, but shortening in the axial direction is not possible in a state where distal end surfaces of the columnar parts (111, 121) are facing distal end surfaces of the columnar parts of the other holder member. An injection needle (100A) protrudes when shortening in the axial direction has been carried out, and a perforation needle (100B) protrudes into the interior of the vial.
