Abstract:
A method for separating metal fullerene M@C82. The method comprises steps of: a) adding a Lewis acid to an extract containing metal fullerene M@C82 and reacting the same to generate a complex precipitate; b) washing the precipitate, followed by dissolving and filtration to obtain a purified metal fullerene M@C82 extract, wherein M is selected from at least one of lanthanide metals Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Yb, and Lu; and the Lewis acid is selected from at least one of zinc chloride, nickel chloride, copper chloride, zinc bromide, nickel bromide, or copper bromide.
