Title:
METHOD OF SEPARATING NUCLEIC ACID, MICROREACTOR FOR TESTING NUCLEIC ACID AND NUCLEIC ACID TEST SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2007/055165
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
It is intended to provide a microreactor for testing a nucleic acid and a nucleic acid test system which have a pretreatment means and enable the performance of a highly reliable test. A nucleic acid test system comprising a chip component for each specimen which has elements for supplying reagents and liquids and a control/detection component which is the main body of the test apparatus and provided separately from the chip component. Since this system has a specimen-pretreatment part for conducting a pretreatment by extracting a nucleic acid from the specimen and concentrating the same, the target substance can be concentrated even in the case of using a dilute sample while simultaneously removing a harmful substance interfering the reaction and contaminants causing clogging in a channel. Moreover, this system has such a channel constitution as allowing the simultaneous analysis of a positive control and a negative control. Owing to this constitution, it scarcely suffers from serious problems in microanalysis or amplification, for example, cross contamination and carry-over contamination.
