Title:
ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT DISPLAY PANAL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2007/055168
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Conventional organic EL display panels employing, e.g., an aromatic polyurea film as a polymer film have had a problem that the polymer film has a yellow color because it absorbs lights having wavelengths in the range of 350-400 µm among the lights in the visible region. An organic EL display panel is provided which comprises a base (11) and the following components formed thereon: an organic EL element (2) comprising first and second display electrodes (21) and (23) and one or more organic functional layers (22) comprising an organic compound and sandwiched between these display electrodes; a polymer film (3) with which the organic EL element and a base surface surrounding the element are coated; and an inorganic barrier film (4) with which this polymer film, the periphery thereof, and a base surface surrounding the periphery are coated. The polymer film is a fatty acid polyurea film.
