Abstract:
The present invention extends the service life of a display device and display system by setting, to a desired value, the color temperature of each of the display devices in a display system that includes a plurality of display devices. A method for setting the color temperature of a display device (10) by setting the color temperature of each of the display devices (10) in a display system (100) that includes a plurality of display devices (10), wherein the output-able maximum luminance that each of the display devices (10) can output is acquired at each of a plurality of color temperatures, the output-able maximum luminance levels of the display devices (10) at the same color temperature are compared, the minimum value of the maximum luminance that is the lowest output-able maximum luminance is specified for each of the color temperatures, the color temperature having the greatest minimum value of the maximum luminance among the minimum values of the maximum luminance specified for each of the color temperatures is set as a common set color temperature, and the color temperatures of at least two of the display devices (10) among the plurality of display devices (10) are set to the common set color temperature.
