Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for smart device safety management by user verification, in which: when shutting down a smart device, etc., a user needs to be verified in various ways to enable the shutdown so as to prevent theft and loss of the smart device, etc.; and also when a password, voice, and the like are used as a verification method during the shutdown, two types of passwords, which are a basic password and an emergency password, are configured so that it is possible, using the emergency password, to prepare for a dangerous situation, such as kidnapping or abduction of the user of the smart device including a smartphone, and the like. The present invention provides a method for smart device safety management by user verification, the method comprising the steps of: executing (S10) a smart device password configuration menu, and configuring (S20) a password; after configuration of the password and confirmation of the configured password, storing (S30) the password; and when power shutdown is requested (S50) in the smart device, requesting (S60) to input the password, by a control unit of the smart device, wherein, the control unit of the smart device determines (S70) the input password when the password is input, and normally shuts down (S90) power of the smart device if the input password is the configured password, and the control unit of the smart device outputs (S80) a password error and maintains a power-on state of the smart device if the input password is not the configured password.
