Abstract:
A method in which a halide having a substituent group with an acidic proton and having a carbon-carbon double bond in which the carbon atoms have one or more halogen atoms as substituents is subjected to a halogen-metal exchange reaction to displace the halogen atom(s) by a metal atom and an electrophilic reagent is introduced into the carbon atom(s) having the metal atom bonded thereto. The method is an industrially excellent method for introducing substituents through a halogen-metal exchange reaction.
