Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and a system for examining a tap changing device. In the method according to the invention, at least one vibration signal and at least one electrical signal are recorded on a common time basis. The recorded electrical signals and vibration signals are compared by an analysis unit to specified features which are characteristic for defined errors or error-free operating of the tap changing device. The electrical signal can in particular be a volume resistance between transformer contacts of a transformer in which the tap changing device is used. The system comprises at least one vibration sensor for recording a vibration signal, at least one device for measuring an electrical resistance, a control unit for providing a time basis and an analysis unit. At least one part of the components of the system can be integrated in a portable device.
