Description:
Be It Known That We, Alexander CHAK and Mark CHAK have invented new and useful improvements in

METHOD OF AND SYSTEM FOR

GENERATING ELECTRICAL ENERGY of which the following is a complete specification.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to systems and methods of generating electrical energy.

Systems and methods of generating electrical energy are known in a huge variety and are based on different sources which are used for conversion of operations of these sources into the electrical energy.

It is believed that it is advisable to provide more methods and systems of generating electrical energy for supply of the electrical energy to consumers, both industrial consumers and personal consumers.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Accordingly, it is an object of the present inventio to provide a new system of generating electrical energy and a new method of generating electrical energy which have not been known before and provide an efficient generation of electrical energy which can be supplied to various consumers.

In keeping with objects and with others which will become apparent hereinafter one features of the present invention resides, briefly stated, in a system for generating electrical energy which has

- a pipeline formed by a pipe through which a flowing medium is supplied;

- a rotatable element located at least partially inside the pipe and rotating under the action of the flowing medium during movement of the flowing medium through the pipe; and

- means for converting the rotation of the rotatable element under the action of the flowing medium into an electric current which can be supplied to consumers. When the system is designed in accordance with the present invention the electrical energy is actually generated from the movement of the flowing medium through the pipe of the pipeline.

According to a further feature of the present invention in the system according to the present invention the flowing medium is selected from the group consisting of oil, gas and water.

According to a further feature of the present invention in the system according to the present invention the rotatable element can be formed as a propeller with a plurality of blades.

According to a further feature of the present invention in the system in accordance with the present invention the generated electrical energy can be supplied to electrical batteries, from which it is taken by corresponding consumers.

According to a further feature of the present invention in the system in accordance with the present invention the generated electrical energy can be supplied directly to corresponding consumers. The present invention also resides in a method of generating electrical energy, which has steps of

- providing a pipeline formed by a pipe through which a flowing medium can be supplied;

- locating a rotatable element at least partially inside the pipe and rotating it under the action of a flowing medium during movement of the flowing medium through the pipe; and

- converting the rotation of the rotatable element under the action of the flowing medium into an electric current which can be supplied to consumers.

The novel features of the present invention will be best understood from the following description of the preferred embodiments, which is accompanied by the following drawings.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

Fig. 1 of the drawings is a side view of an inventive system for generating electricity according to the present invention, which is designed to execute a method for generating electricity according to the present invention, and

Fig. 2 is a view showing a cross section of the inventive system for generating electricity according to the present invention, which is designed to execute a method for generating electricity according to the present invention

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

A system and a method for generating electricity according to the present invention are provided for generating electricity or electric current in association with a pipeline for supplying a flowing medium, such as for example oil, gas, water or another medium flowing through the pipeline.

The system has a substantially circular main body 1 bounding a hollow interior and connected with a hollow tube 2 which in turn is connectable by its hollow flanges 3 with hollow flanges 3 of a pipeline. A rotary blade 4 with a plurality of wings is located in the circular main body 1 and is mounted of a shaft 5. The main body 1 and the rotary blade 4 are designed and installed in the hollow tube 2 so that their lower parts are located inside the hollow tube 2 while their upper parts are located upwardly outside of the hollow tube 2.

The lower part of the hollow tube 1 has a throughgoing passage at its both sides for passing therethrough the flowing medium 16 which flows through the hollow tube 2.

When the flowing medium 16 is supplied through the pipeline in a flow direction and through the hollow tube 2 It enters the main body 1 , rotates the rotary blade 4, and then exits the main body 1.

The system for generating electricity according to the present invention is further provided with an electrical generator 11 attached by a locking collar 12 to a bracket

13 connected with a big lid 8 of the main body 1. A small lid 9 is connected with the big lid 8 for example by bolts, and bearings 7 are arranged between the big lid 8 and the shaft 5 provided with a safety washer 6 and a sleeveshaped clutch 10.

The system further has electrically conducting wires 15 which electrically connect the electrical generator 11 with an electrical battery 14, and also electrically conducting wires 16 connectable with electric current consumers 17.

During moving of the flowing medium through the tube 2 it rotates the blade 4 and the shaft 5 so that the electrical generator 11 generates an electric current. The thusly generated electric current is supplied to the accumulator 14 from which when needed it can be withdrawn for subsequent use, and also is supplied directly to electric current consumers 17.

The proposed new system and method according to the present invention can generate electrical energy continuously non-stop for 24 hours a day.

It should be emphasized that several systems of the invention can be provided on several locations of the same pipeline on different distances from each other. Also different consumers can use the electrical energy, including industrial consumers, transportation consumers, private consumers etc.

The novel features of the present invention are set forth in particular in the appended claims.
