Abstract:
A method for transmitting information associated with a medicament (14) is described, wherein a mobile telephone (10) having a camera and also a medicament database (16) are provided. A photograph of the packaging of the medicament (14) is taken by the mobile telephone (10). The photograph is transmitted to the medicament database (16). The photograph is compared with identification information stored in the medicament database (16). If matching identification information is found, use information relating to the medicament (14) is transmitted (20) to the mobile telephone (10) in the form of voice data.
