Abstract:
Provided are a method for transmitting information in an optical wireless communication network, a coordinator and a terminal node. The method comprises: a coordinator determining bandwidth information, wherein the bandwidth information comprises the maximum bandwidth supported by and/or a bandwidth currently used by each terminal node in M terminal nodes associated with the coordinator, where M is an integer greater than or equal to 1; the coordinator determining N transmission bandwidths corresponding to N contention transmission time periods on a one-to-one basis according to the bandwidth information, where N is an integer greater than or equal to 1; and the coordinator sending scheduling information to the M terminal nodes, wherein the scheduling information is used for indicating the N transmission bandwidths and the correlation between the N transmission bandwidths and the N contention transmission time periods. By means of the method for transmitting information in an optical wireless communication network in the embodiments of the present invention, when a terminal node which can support different bandwidths performs contention transmission, a coordinator can determine a receiving bandwidth and thus can correctly detect uplink information.
