Abstract:
Disclosed are a preparation method for a catalyst used for preferential oxidation of CO in a hydrogen-rich atmosphere, and the catalyst product obtained from said method, and applications thereof. The catalyst is made by deposition of one or more of the promoters iron oxide, cobalt oxide and nickel oxide on the surface of a supported Pt-group noble metal catalyst precursor by means of chemical vapor deposition or atomic layer deposition. The present invention demonstrates excellent catalytic performance during preferential oxidation of CO in a hydrogen-rich atmosphere.
