Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a method and device for optimizing multiple RF module operation of a UE in a wireless network. The method comprises: activating a first RF module from a plurality of RF modules available at the UE for communication with a serving beam in a serving cell, selecting at least one RF module from a remaining inactivate RF modules to measure at least one neighbor beam from a plurality of neighbor beams of each neighbor cell, and switching the communication from the serving beam to the at least one neighbor beam based on the measurement for continuing the communication in response to determining that the signal strength associated with the serving beam meets the signal criteria.
