Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and apparatus of transmitting a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) and a method and apparatus of receiving a DMRS. In one embodiment of the present disclosure, the method of transmitting a DMRS comprises transmitting a DMRS to a terminal device accessing a wireless communication network based on Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) using predetermined antenna ports, and particularly, a negative sequence of a legacy orthogonal cover code (OCC) sequence of at least one of the predetermined antenna ports is used as an OCC sequence for the at least one of the predetermined antenna ports to reduce an uneven distribution of power. With embodiments of the present disclosure, the negative sequence of a legacy OCC sequence of at least one of the predetermined antenna ports is used instead of the legacy OCC sequence, which may adjust distribution of power and thus original uneven distribution of power can be reduced substantially. At the same time, it is also possible to achieve desired frequency-domain orthogonality.
