Title:
METHODS FOR THE COMPENSATION OF A TRANSVERSE ELONGATION AND/OR A LONGITUDINAL ELONGATION OF A PRINTING MATERIAL AND PRINTING PRESS WITH SEVERAL PRINTING COUPLES GENERATING AT LEAST ONE PRINTED IMAGE ON A PRINTING MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2005072967
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
Methods for the compensation of a transverse elongation and/or a longitudinal elongation of a printing material (03) are disclosed, in which the printing material passes through serial printing couples (04) of a printing press (01), whereby a component of the transverse elongation is compensated for after passage of the printing material (03) thorugh a printing couple (04) before entry thereof into a subsequent printing couple (04) by means of a framing controller (38), or a component of the transverse elongation is compensated for by a displacement of at least one printing form (08), arranged on the subsequent printing couple (04), transverse to the production flow of the printing material, relative to a reference mark (M) on the printing material (03) and whereby a component of the transverse elongation and/or the longitudinal elongation of the printing material, known at the instant of a image generation on a printing form (08) of a subsequent printing couple (04), is compensated for by means of a configuration and/or positioning of a printed image placement (09) on the printing form (08).
