The present disclosure provides methods for monitoring LSP health in a SR enabled network, and corresponding entities. A method implemented at a network element comprises monitoring a forwarding state of the network element; generating Multiprotocol Label Switch, MPLS, forwarding state information based on the forwarding state; and transmitting the forwarding state information to a network controller. The present disclosure further discloses a corresponding method implemented at a network controller which comprises receiving Multiprotocol Label Switch, MPLS, forwarding state information from a network element, wherein the MPLS forwarding state information indicates a forwarding state of the network element; and determining the forwarding state of the network element based on a type of the MPLS forwarding state information. The present disclosure further provides corresponding computer readable medium.
