Abstract:
This microchip for liquid sample analysis has a flow channel therein. The microchip comprises: a base having an attachment surface in which a groove that forms the flow channel, a retaining part that retains liquid at a portion of the groove, and a wall part that prevents the liquid from flowing out from the retaining part into the flow channel are provided; a film that is attached to the attachment surface of the base to cover the groove and thereby form the flow channel; and an adhesion part that is formed by an adhesive agent for attaching the attachment surface of the base and the film, and an adhesive agent that is provided between an end surface of the wall part and the film, and allows the liquid to pass therethrough when the film is released from the end portion of the wall part due to pressure applied to the liquid.
