Abstract:
A microfluidic chip 10 comprises: a substrate 14; a flow passage 12 which is formed in the substrate 14 and through which a sample moves; a first air communication port 24 provided at an end of the flow passage 12; a thermal cycle region which is provided in a portion of the flow passage 12 to impart a thermal cycle to the sample in the flow passage 12; and a first chamber 32 provided between the thermal cycle region and the first air communication port 24 in the flow passage 12.
