Abstract:
A microneedle applicator is provided. A microneedle applicator for inserting microneedles into the skin, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a plate- or mount-shaped support part, which can be sheared by means of shearing force of a predetermined magnitude or higher; a plurality of microneedles, each having one end portion supported on one surface of the support part; a pressing member having pressing protrusions for pressing the microneedles toward the other surface of the support part; and a support member which supports the support part such that the other end portions of the plurality of microneedles face the skin, and which has openings formed at positions corresponding to those of the plurality of microneedles, wherein, when the other surface of the support part is pressed by means of the pressing member, portions of the support part are sheared and the microneedles are inserted into the skin.
