Abstract:
The method for producing microneedle structure according to the present invention is a method for producing a microneedle structure 10 provided with, on one surface side of a base material 11 having permeability to liquid in the thickness direction, needle-shaped parts 12 having holes 13, the method involving: a forming step for forming protrusions 5 using a composition 3 for forming a needle part, wherein the composition 3 contains a first water-insoluble material and a first water-soluble material; a bonding step for bonding the composition 3 or the protrusions 5 formed in the forming step to the base material 11; and a removing step for immersing the protrusions 5 and the base material 11 in water to dissolve the first water-soluble material and remove the same, and thereby forming the needle parts 12 and the holes 13 from the protrusions 5. Such a microneedle structure production method provides a microneedle structure provided with a base material and securing flow passages.
