Abstract:
Provided is a microparticle batching device for optimizing emulsion generation conditions and microparticle batching conditions. The present technology provides a microparticle batching device that comprises: a particle detection unit detecting microparticles in a first liquid flowing through a main channel; a collection channel collecting an emulsion in which microparticles to be batched, from among the aforesaid microparticles, and the first liquid are enclosed in a second liquid which is immiscible with the first liquid; an emulsion detection unit detecting light from the collected emulsion and/or the microparticles contained in the emulsion using different optical detection systems; and a control unit controlling the collection of the emulsion into the collection channel on the basis of the information detected by the emulsion detection unit. The present technology also provides a method for batching microparticles with the microparticle batching device.
