Abstract:
A microwave-mechanical fluidized mining system for a metal mine and a mining method using the system. The system comprises a microwave pre-splitting mechanical mining system, a microwave separation system, a high-power microwave focused melting system, and a goaf (23). An ore-waste mixture mined by the microwave pre-splitting mining system is transported, by means of a conveying machine I (6) and an elevation machine (7) thereon, to the microwave separation system; separated ores are transported to the high-power microwave focused melting system; and separated waste rocks are transported, by means of a conveying machine V (22), to the goaf (23) for filling. The use of microwave pre-splitting mechanical mining improves the excavation speed, avoids the impact of blasting on the stability of surrounding rocks, simplifies the process of mineral separation, and reduces crushing, grinding, and flotation procedures, and microwave energy mainly used can be converted by means of renewable energy sources.
