Abstract:
A milk-derived polypeptide derivative and applications thereof in the preparation of a drug, a health product and a food additive for the prevention and treatment of obesity, belonging to the technical field of biomedicine. The present milk-derived polypeptide and a penetrating peptide derivative thereof can slow down the weight gain of mice induced by a high-fat diet, reduce blood sugar, blood lipid and insulin levels, and improve insulin sensitivity and glucose tolerance; in addition, they can achieve weight loss and blood sugar reduction in obese model mice. Therefore, they have the potential to prepare a drug, a health product and a food additive for the prevention and treatment of obesity, its complications and other related diseases.
