Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a mirror holding mechanism which is capable of minutely adjusting the position and angle of a reflecting mirror while confirming a projected image which has been reflected by the reflective surface of the reflecting mirror and projected onto a projection surface. [Solution] This mirror holding mechanism 1 is provided with a reflecting mirror 2, a mirror holding member 3 and cam members 9. The mirror holding member 3 is provided with two side parts 3a arranged so as to hold the reflecting mirror 2 therebetween in the X direction. The side parts 3a are formed having a guide hole 3g for inserting shaft units 10b that project outwards in the X direction from the reflecting mirror 2, and the guide holes 3g are formed to have an elongate hole shape, the long direction being the Y direction. The cam members 9 are arranged outward of the side parts 3a in the X direction and are rotatably held by the side parts 3a, and a cam surface 9e contacted by the distal portion of the shaft units 10b is formed in the cam members 9. In the mirror holding mechanism 1, the shaft portions 10b move in the Y direction when the cam members 9 rotate.
