Abstract:

The invention relates to a mixer comprising a base (2) with a hinged head (3) mounted thereon, characterized in that the head (3) is provided with a handle (4) and a button (5) that, when actuated, deactivates a mechanism for retaining the head (3) locked in a so-called raised position and/or in a so-called work position, wherein the button (5) is conveniently placed on the head (3) within reach of the thumb of the user when the latter holds the handle (4).
