Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an MnZn-based ferrite that can reduce magnetic loss at a high frequency and suppress a change in magnetic properties under a high magnetic field, and a method of manufacturing the same. An MnZn-based ferrite containing Fe2O3, ZnO and MnO as main components, wherein, per 100 mol% of the main components, the content of Fe2O3 is 53.2-56.0 mol% and the content of ZnO is 3.0-12.0 mol%, with the balance being MnO. This MnZn-based ferrite further contains, per 100 mass% of the main components, 0.005-0.060 mass% of SiO2, 0.010-0.060 mass% of CaO, 0.10-0.40 mass% of Co2O3 and 0.05-0.30 mass% of TiO2 as auxiliary component, and has an average crystal size of 4 μm or less and a sintered density of 4.8 g/cm3 or more.
