Abstract:
A mobile communication system, a device for processing a digital signal, and a method of setting up simultaneous transmission areas in the system are disclosed. When it is determined that a terminal is located on an area where a simultaneous transmission function is performed based on the intensity of a signal transmitted from two wireless signal processing devices among a plurality of wireless signal processing devices, and on the transmission power of each of the two wireless signal processing devices, the digital signal processing device of the system performs a simultaneous transmission function in which the two wireless signal processing devices transmit, to the terminal, the same signal, or signals temporally and spatially coded on a piece of data, wherein the area where the simultaneous transmission function is performed is adjusted according to the load of a network to which the two wireless signal processing devices belong.
