Abstract:

Disclosed is a base station which wirelessly communicates with a mobile terminal corresponding to a plurality of component carriers and wirelessly communicates with a mobile terminal corresponding to an aggregated carrier obtained by aggregating the plurality of component carriers, by using the plurality of component carriers or using the aggregated carrier. The base station notifies the mobile terminal corresponding to the aggregated carrier with the band width of the aggregated carrier as a band width to be used by the base station. Consequently, the base station improves a communication speed corresponding to the aggregated carrier and also supports the operation of the mobile terminal corresponding to the component carriers.
